When we were young life was easier, right? We did what it took to get the work done.  If we were uncomfortable we moved, we stood up, we changed our work around.  We worked out and strengthened our bodies.  I know sometimes it seems that way. But the truth is work still is easy. It always will be. The only difference is we’re older now, and the older we get, the harder we tend to make things for ourselves.

As we got older we let our minds become disillusioned by negative influences. At some point we began to hesitate and question our instincts to move. When new obstacles or pains arose, we simply fell down. This happend to us a lot and eventually we decided we were tired of falling down, but rather than solving the problem that caused us to fall, we gave up and gave in.

As a result, we ate comfort food, watched TV, took too many naps and kept using the same work equipment.  We took longer breaks at work and ended up working later nights and on weekends to get the work done.  We avoided the fun weekends and the gym because we had all this work to do.  Then we started holding grudges and rushing our work to get ahead. And when it didn’t work out, we went to our doctors to see if there was some magic pill that could take away our pain.

Over the course of time, we made our lives harder and harder, and we started losing touch with work that that we really love and the healthy body that we once had.
